We realize that many families are one financial crisis away from homelessness and disaster.

 

At A Hand Up, it is our heart to embody the spirit of hope, help change people’s lives, improve our communities, and make Bay County a better place to live for all!

 

We care about the stability of the entire family unit, and we are dedicated to helping people by providing them with A HAND UP, so they can continue to support  themselves and their families. 

 

Anyone facing temporary and emergency financial hardships may be eligible to receive services through our Hand to Hand Financial Assistance Program.

 

Having been on the receiving end, we understand that sometimes it may be difficult to make that leap and ask for the help you need.

 

However, our family oriented staff ensures a smooth process for you to receive the HAND UP that you may temporarily need, as well as protecting the integrity of the program and the recipients.

When funds are available, Hand 2 Hand provides temporary financial relief by helping families in crisis with:

​

• Utility Bills Assistance 

• Rent assistance 

• Gas cards

• Gift cards for clothing and essential household and hygiene products, you need to care for yourself and your family 

​

The Cares Act funding is CLOSED.

​

There is currently no funding available for rent or utility bills assistance through Cares Act or through A Hand Up.
